About me

Niccolò Zorza is an Italian portrait photographer whose practice moves between commissioned portraiture and long-term authorial projects.

Working with a minimalist visual language, his photography explores identity, memory, resilience, and human experience through portraiture. His approach is rooted in dialogue and encounter, using the photographic portrait as a space for connection between photographer and subject.

Among his major projects is Cicatrici (2022), an ongoing documentary work exploring resilience through portraits and physical scars. The project has been featured by Perimetro, Corriere della Sera, and The Street Rover, and in 2026 was included in the circuit of L’Oeil de la Photographie.

In 2025 he completed Unsaid, a visual narrative exploring distance, absence, and emotional detachment in human relationships. The project was presented in exhibition form and included in the official exhibition catalogue.

His work has also been recognised by Fotografiska through the Fotografiska Emerging platform.

Alongside his personal projects, Zorza produces limited-edition fine art prints that have been acquired internationally through auctions and private collections across Europe.
